First sight (open)

Edward as always, was early as usual, swiftly and gracefully he entered the class room. Mr Banner had himself only just arrived. Edward displayed his various pointless acidemic props, books, pens, pencils even a note book, none of which was ever really used, the pen on the odd ocassion. Edward sat at his desk simply, a moment later a few students trickled in, all the while Edward sat still. His gaze focused idly out the window. His mind was currently consumed with one particular girl, Isabella Swan, the one girl whos mind he could not read, the fact he had tried in the caffeteria was enough to constantly irritate him, that and it had been wholly frustrating.

The bell rung, and Many students had seated, Edward unfocused simply wished the lesson by, in doing so he picked up his ben and fiddled with it his eyes, carcoal black, unseeing, and devoid of almost every emotion, as like himself his eyes drank in the light. He should of hunted, he was pushing it a bit too much.

Bella walked into the classroom carefully as she went as she felt Mike Newton's hand placed gently on her back as he guided her in, "Bella Swan," She whispered towards Mr.Banner, introducing herself as she then handed her slip over to him and gave a slow, grimace of a smile before she then looked to Mike whom said his goodbye, waving slightly to him as she stepped infront of the fan which blew and teased at her long brow hair. "Bye Mike," She called before she then pushed some hair from her dark eyes that glinted lightly and saw the only place left was next to Edward Cullen, whom seemed to look like he was in pain. Frowning slightly, Bella smelt her shoulder, trying to see if she smelt bad and walked over slowly, tripping over her foot and landing carefully so that she could place her things on her table before she then shifted her shoulders lightly and got onto her seat. Her chocolate brown hair cascading over her shoulder as she looked to him as he tensed, frowning she moved slowly, letting her hair fall down her shoulder to cause a curtain, a separation from between them.

Edward caught distant thoughts, namly of Mike and his sick excitment at touching Bella, as it seemed. Edward reamined as he was, before he tilted his head slighlty, his eyes looking at the recently entered Isabella Swan. Just that moment she stepped infront of the fan, and he could not believe the scent he instantly picked up. He suddenly sat straight in his seat, tense his muscles tighted. In that gesture, his hand shot to his mouth and nose and covered both. She smelt so wonderful, more so then anything he had ever smelt. He could not believe it. He remained like that for a moment, as she sat down he slowly removed his hand, yet he never relaxed, pushing the individual cup in the girls direction he soon glared to her, how dare she come to Fork, to ruin his almost perfect home, his black eyes, cold and piercing gazed to her in an imtimidating manner.

Shifting uncomfortably in her seat she then looked towards him as she then smelt her hair before she then shivered lightly, What was wrong with her that made him act like this. Why could he be so rude? He couldn't even have the decency to say hello, the lesson droned on as she opened her new books and tapped her pen on the book slowly before she then looked down at her books, he was making her feel so reserved and small yet angry at the same time as she looked towards him from the corner of her eyes and yet he was still looking, did she have something on her face?

Edward continued to gaze unblinkingly at the figure of the girl beside him. He watched his gaze always the same piercing, imtimidating and cold, Finally he spoke, his voice harsh yet still seductive "Why did you move to Forks?" he asked suddenly only to realize his blunt mistake. He frowned none the less and awaited a reply. No Hello or introduction, just straight to the point. Edward still tense shifted stiffly in his seat to half face the Isabella.

Bella looked slightly startled by how abrupt Edward was with his question, "Pardon?" Her voice trembled as she tripped over her own words as they spilled out of her mouth, "I-is that anything to do with you?" She asked slightly bitterly back, just because she was the new girl and he was so heavenly gorgeous she wasn't going to let him push her about, however easy it was for him. Her had trembled again as she pushed her hair behind her shoulder as she slightly stiffened in her seat before she then looked forwards, all the time trying to keep her voice down incase Mr. Banner would have heard them.

"I asked you, why you moved to Forks.." He stated then at her question he frowned and looked away as he continued to hold his breath, obviously he wasn't going to get any answer due to how stubborn this being was. He glowered to the table, his hands clenched onto the table it's self underneath, his finger seemingly imprinted on the wood, as small shavings fell to the floor out of view of the many students. Who was she to come here how dare she ruin his near enough pefect home. He hated her. hated her becasue she risked everything, she risked exposure. She smelt so good.

Bella frowned again, "Why are you so rude?" She asked in a nervous tone keeping her eyes forward and feeling her body curl away from him as she felt a small shiver run down her back. "My mum got re-married," She said slowly before she then turned to him feeling his gaze burning on her pale skin, before she then turned one of the pages on the book before Mr.Banner came around to tell them what they were going to do, Bella looked up and swallowed slightly before she then looked to the microscope and felt her slim fingers tapping nervously on her book before her eyes turned to Edward's, watching how they were so coal black.

Edward turned his head and his gaze towards her, his black eyes cold and piercing. His expression was one of pure and utter loathing. He watched her, he knew he was perhaps imtimidating, to all extents, but currently he could not care less. He watched her still. Silent and waiting, his posture remained tense and the miniutes ticked by, he then heard the small voice of Isabella, one he had not noticed fully till now. It was light, and poliet even as she seemed angry. She remained innocent. Edward bit back the urge to growl. For he doubted that would help the situation. As Mr Banner begun to lecture, and went around the class room, Edward eyes cold and piercing as they were remained souly on Isabella Swan.

Kai walked in and looked around the room. She then sit behind a girl and a boy talking. She was not going to say nothing. Because by the looks of it, the girl didn't know about vampires or werewolves. The girl also smelled good to her. But put it on the back burner. She didn't like drinking human blood. It made her feel bad. She then pulled out her stuff to work on and said to herself

"uhh.. I can't wait until the bell rings..."

Bella looked back to him before she then took the microscope and then back towards Edward, "Mind if I?" She asked before squinting with one eye before looking, into the microscope and then looking to her book. "Prophase," Bella added slowly, more sure of herself as she had done this once before in her pervious school in Phoenix. Swallowing lightly as she felt her throat tightening up as he watched her like he was a lion ready to pounce on her as if he was going to eat her, she felt strange, why was he looking at her like she was a piece of meat?

"Mind if I check?" he questioned his voice flat as he took the microscope and checked it "Prophase" He said before he then turned to the paper, he was struggling, his mind distracted, his natuaral instints flaring. He scribbled down Prophase swiftly then changed the slide, he was careful not to touch her, not to get too close, with her, he tried to reamain as far away from her as physically possible on the small bench. Once the slide had changed. Edward cupped the microscope with a pale slender hand and gazed down then funnel. "Anaphase." He stated pushign it away from him as he too wrote Anaphase in neat slanted writing.

"Mind if I?" Bella whispered carelessly before she then pulled over the microscope and did the same before looking down to her messy writing and scribbling down, 'Anaphase' in her book, sighing at how rough it was compared to Edward's angelic writing, clenching her teeth she pushed her book aside and took the microscope again after switching the glass slips and checking, "Anaphase again," She said simply, knowing how this was going to be the last one, whom ever would have completed first got the Golden Onion, strange, yet an interesting concept as she looked around it seemed Edward and herself were some of the ones only remotely looking like they were going to finish.

Edward shrugged lightly as he allowed Bella to check. He then looked over to her writing, as if it was a clue in order to decipher her some more. Edward pursed his lips as he tried to be poliet, although he was struggerling. He put down his pend and turned slightly to face Bella "Look, I'm sorry I'm being rude, but I think it's the best thing for me to do." Edward admitted looking to her, "But I can't help but find you extreamly intresting."

"All I did was walk into the room this is the first time you have decided to speak to me like a normal human being," She said simply before looking slightly confused as she heard the bell ring, "You were gone," She whispered not knowing what else to say. Taking her books into her stumbling hands before pulling herself off the chair and looking to Edward, wondering if he was going to say anything else to defend his absence.
